How to add chat Widget to Webflow

Add custom code and scripts that are applicable to your entire site or specific pages.

If you have a paid Webflow account or an active site plan for your project, you can add custom code and scripts that apply to your entire site or individual pages. This is useful for including WidgetWhats Script.

Project settings Custom code

Heading code

Code entered in the Head tag is applied to your entire site and is a method of linking external resources, adding meta data, and using custom styles in your document. Enter your code in the Head code section of Project settings >Custom code and save changes.

Code for the footer

Code entered in the Body tag is applied to your entire site and is a method of adding scripts to your site. Enter your code in the Footer code section of Project settings> Custom code and Save changes.

Page settings > Custom code

The code included in any page’s custom code section applies only to that page and appears after any site-wide custom code.

Open Page settings from within the Designer, enter your code in the Head code section, and Save the settings. Check out which tags go in the head> tag/head>.

Before < / body > tag
From inside the Designer, open Page settings, enter your code in the Body code section, and Save the settings. Usually <scripts></scripts> go in this section.
